This training course, Devenir consultant en bilan de compétences (Becoming a skills assessment consultant), came about very naturally after the roll-out of our professional coaching training. The reality of the consultancy profession requires us to work on our customers' jobs and the questions they raise in relation to them, as well as on their development and prospects. The skills assessment framework offers a structured process for working on these issues, so we have designed a practical, comprehensive training course to enable you to support people either in your coaching or as a skills assessment consultant.

Objectives of the skills assessment consultant training course :

Know how to support a beneficiary in developing and validating a motivating, coherent and realistic professional project.

Acquire the theoretical and methodological foundations required to carry out a skills assessment.

  • Understand the current context, players and challenges of career guidance and transition.
  • Know the regulatory, administrative and financial framework of a skills assessment.
  • Exercises and reflection tools to support professional transitions.
  • Understand the objectives and process of a skills assessment: the 3 regulatory phases and essential stages
  • Understand the specificities of the career transition consultant's posture
  • Conducting a preliminary assessment interview: key elements and role-playing exercises
  • Knowing how to analyze the request and build a working alliance with the beneficiary
  • Consider the past and the present before looking to the future
  • Help beneficiaries identify their values, motivations, needs and what gives meaning to their work (experimentation with tools).
  • Help the beneficiary to better define his/her personality, assets and uniqueness (qualities, strengths, talents)
  • Acquire methods to help beneficiaries identify and enhance their skills (knowledge, know-how, interpersonal skills).
  • Learn about the main types of existing tests, and their conditions of use and restitution (exercise based on the Vocation test, proposed to participants beforehand).
  • Help the beneficiary to project him/herself and identify potential avenues of orientation or development
  • Guide the beneficiary in the exploration of his or her leads thanks to the business survey
  • Advice on developing job search tools (CV, pitch, Linkedin, etc.)
  • Support the choice of project and define an action plan for its implementation
  • Conclude the support process, co-construct the skills assessment summary.

Pedagogy

Each sequence alternates between methodological input and practical application: simulations of skills assessment interviews, role-playing in pairs or trios based on case studies, experimentation with the tools presented, group debriefs, etc.

The organization

Course duration :

4 days of videoconferencing (28 hours) and 10 hours of e-learning (38 hours of professional training).

May/June session:
May 18 and 19, then June 1 and 2, 2026

November session:
November 16 and 17, then November 30 and December 1, 2026

Training location :

100% remote.

Prerequisites :

Have experience in coaching in your professional life (coach, consultant, therapist, trainer, manager, team leader, etc.)

Audience:

Professional coaches, consultants, career or integration advisors, mediators, trainers, HR

Number of participants :

Small groups of no more than 12 people.
We prefer human-sized groups, which enable high-quality interaction and in-depth, tailor-made work.

The course is accessible to people with mild sensory disabilities (visually impaired, hearing impaired, etc.). Please consult us for other types of disability.
